The majority of Tray Dahl & the Jugtime Ragband original songs are individual stories – like mini black & white movies – that take place anywhere from the 1870’s to the 1930’s. Tray sometimes puts a little of herself into her main characters. It’s no accident that some of them enjoy tea, have families that came through Ellis Island, and drink all the same alcoholic beverages that Tray enjoys the most. You might even meet up with a few characters from Tray’s very favorite movie “It’s a Wonderful Life.”
