For many years Tray Dahl has been entertaining senior communities all around the US. She typically plays weekly as a solo musical act or guest lecturer at various local senior homes and senior church luncheons. While traveling, either touring with the band or just on personal trips, Tray will add out of town senior homes to the schedule. She is always happy to bring along a band of accompanying musicians to play larger senior events, such as Fall Festivals, Mardi Gras or Prohibition parties, that many senior facilities put on for their residents as an opportunity to dress in costumes and invite their families to enjoy.

Tray is also a published academic and instructor at Georgia State University (online classes since 2020) with her Bachelor degree is History and her Masters in Urban Economic Geography. And once she was even the keynote speaker for a Boston Consultant Group corporate event! As an entertainer at heart, she utilizes her lecturing skills to perform talks (with or without music mixed in) at senior communities on the history of her beloved New Orleans jazz, the history of vaudeville, of old Hollywood and/or any vintage entertainment. She is also willing to take lecture requests from residents as long as she is given enough time to research the topic and write the lecture. To schedule Tray to perform for your seniors click here

Our seniors were very entertained by the stylings and energetic singing of Tray Dahl. They enjoyed an hour of toe-tapping, finger snapping, good old gospel singing by Tray along with her banjo. We are truly grateful for Tray’s talent and unique New Orleans influenced music style!
